Hello,

My application depends on temporal for availability. Does the temporal Python SDK expose any sort of health check to make sure the temporal server is reachable? If not, is there any recommendation on how I should approach health checking temporal to report the availability of my application?

Yes, you can call `await my_client.service_client.check_health()`. But this is rarely needed because workers automatically reconnect and client calls will fail (after potential internal retry) as expected when server unavailable.

Can you be more specific? Are you talking about workers? Workers internally automatically reconnect to servers for at least a minute. A fatal worker error will raise an error out of the `run()` call after it has shut itself down gracefully.
