We’re considering using self-managed MySQL for our self-hosted Temporal Server. We’ve heard from a few references that MySQL can start to “blow up” at a certain level of activity (in terms of APS). Has anyone experienced specific thresholds where MySQL starts to break down or performance degrades significantly? What APS levels triggered issues in your case, and what were the underlying causes (e.g., workflow history size, DB contention, etc.)?
Appreciate any shared experience or tips. Thanks in advance!
