Hi team! On one of project team is looking for online payment solution, the core architectural requirement is ‘low latency’. On the other hand payment processing is of cause a kind of workflow. So my question is can you please evaluate if Temporal can be a good tools for processing short workflows, not more then 10 steps, very low latency and high RPS (5K+) ?
Can you quantify what “low latency” means?
My guess is that any online payment system requires high reliability and guarantees of no data loss. Any solution that provides such guarantees would need to talk to a DB or some other durable storage. Temporal would be as good or better (due to caching) than any such solution. Obviously any concrete requirements around latency would be nice.
The 5K+ RPS is already production-proven.
