Max Retention Period

Hi everyone! and thank you in advance

I need to set the retention period to the max available, we need to set for it to never to archive and if that’s not possible to the max available.

a few things I need to know are:
which is the max retention period?
can we set it to infinite or disable it?
this is configured per namespace?

There is no built-in max retention period. It depends on your DB and Elastic Search setup. Setting it too low can lead to performance issues or even loss of data if your DB gets out of disk space.
