Yes that is possible. Important to set limits for rps and qps especially for example:
frontend.persistenceMaxQPS
matching.persistenceMaxQPS
history.persistenceMaxQPS
history.persistenceGlobalMaxQPS
history.persistencePerShardNamespaceMaxQPS
frontend.globalNamespaceRPS
frontend.globalRPS
frontend.globalNamespaceCount
