An alternative to deploying and managing your own Cluster is using Temporal Cloud, where we host the Cluster for you. Temporal Cloud handles very high scale (we have run clusters up to 1M state transitions per second), and most teams find that it’s well worth it to free up the devs or devops people who were operating and scaling their open-source Clusters (which, since it’s complex, can take a lot of time to do, and can be difficult to get right, particularly at scale).
