Given that Temporal XDC setup is Active/Passive, What do i get to loose, if idont do an xdc setup and depdend upon the replication done my mysql/auroa db to start the passive cluser when required?
Temporal relies on DB being fully consistent all the time to avoid data corruption. So any async/semysinc replication is not going to work as it doesn’t guarantee consistency in certain failure scenarios.
